Jonas grew up as a skier and started filming because of a knee injury (what?) at a young age. He loves to capture fast movements but also enjoys the silence and beauty of nature, which gives his works a unic touch as well as rythm and flow.
Lukas started his passion for filmmaking with sharing sports videos on youtube. In the past years he worked internationally in the sport travel and commercial industry. With his obsession for dynamic pictures he adapts his filmmaking to the subject and creates a touching vibe within his images.
Where the magic happens
Back in 2011, Lukas and Jonas met while hitting some jumps with their freestyle skis, little knowing that they would embark on a much bigger and significantly longer journey a few years later. After both had accumulated years of experience in their own productions, they founded a production company in 2018, aimed at creating awesome videos that people want to watch – Watchsome
As it was with skiing, they were both deeply committed to what they did and would keep attempting jumps until they successfully landed a trick. This mindset closely mirrors their approach at Watchsome. Regardless of how demanding a client's wishes or deadlines are, they always find a way to get the job done. After years in the field, they continue to strive for the highest possible output within the given budget.
Thanks to their extensive network of creatives and their in-house gear, WE is highly flexible and efficient when it comes to capturing that perfect shot on a 3000m summit at the ideal time of the day. No matter the request, the crew loves to take the challenge and grow out of themselves as a team and consistently raises the bar.
